COACH AJ

ABOUT THE PROGRAM

Empower’s Athletic Conditioning classes are designed to build strong, resilient, and explosive athletes ages 10+. Led by Coach Ash and Coach AJ, this program blends high-level strength and conditioning with real competitive experience. With over 15 years in the athletic training industry and as a former athletic performance gym owner, Coach Ash brings deep expertise in long-term athletic development — paired with firsthand experience as a former NCAA Division I soccer player who understands what it takes to compete at the highest level. Coach AJ specializes in strength and speed, focusing on running mechanics, agility, and power development. A seasoned sports performance coach with a background as an NCAA Division II football scholarship athlete (Glenville State College), transfer athlete at the University of Manitoba, 2007 Vanier Cup National Champion, and CFL Regional Combine invitee, AJ brings elite-level insight into developing youth athletes across multiple sports. Together, they create a structured, high-energy environment where athletes build speed, strength, confidence, and durability that translates directly to game performance.
