EMPOWER "FAST"

Starts August 12, runs Monday's & Friday's, 1pm and 2pm

*one hour slots available, must register for 4-weeks* 

About the Program

Empower FAST is a comprehensive speed training program designed for youth athletes of all ages and genders, conducted at Empower's state-of-the-art indoor athletic facility. Led by renowned coach Ty Edwards, this program focuses on enhancing speed and running techniques to instill better habits in athletes. These improved habits are aimed at boosting speed and explosive power during performance. All Empower athletes will benefit from the collaborative efforts of Coach Ty and the Empower staff coaches, who work together to deliver a holistic performance program tailored to support each player's individual goals.

Tyrone Edwards, a coach and mentor specializing in speed, movement efficiency, and strength training, adopts a personalized coaching approach that emphasizes the development of athletes' individual identities. His goal is to cultivate excellence both on and off the field, court, or arena, enabling athletes to embody their achievements with pride through dedicated effort. With experience spanning amateur to professional levels across sports like basketball, baseball, soccer, and hockey, Tyrone leverages his background as a former athlete to empower athletes with the knowledge and tools necessary for personal growth and progress. He views himself as a facilitator of their journey towards success, guiding rather than dictating their paths. Tyrone's aspiration is for every athlete under his tutelage to transcend their athletic identities, embracing confidence, work ethic, and self-awareness cultivated through their athletic careers and daily lives. By instilling positive habits and fostering self-assurance through movement, he aims to shape individuals who are not only outstanding athletes but also exceptional individuals.
