Our company policies are designed to uphold the highest standards of integrity, accountability, and care in every aspect of our programming. From our cancellation and booking procedures to our privacy and release waivers, each policy reflects our dedication to fairness, clarity, and respect. In alignment with our values, our anti-racism policy reinforces our stance against discrimination and our ongoing commitment to equity and inclusion in sport. We encourage all members of our community to review these policies carefully as they form the foundation of our shared commitment to a positive and empowering experience for everyone involved.

Zero-Tolerance Policy
At Empower Futbol, we are committed to providing a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all athletes, families, coaches, and community members. We have a zero-tolerance policy for any behavior that undermines the physical or emotional safety of others, including but not limited to: Discrimination or harassment of any kind, including based on race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, ability, or socioeconomic status. Bullying, intimidation, or verbal abuse Physical aggression or threats of violence Sexual harassment, misconduct, or inappropriate behavior Disrespect toward coaches, referees, volunteers, or fellow players and our facility. Dismissive or harmful behavior that excludes or isolates others This policy applies to all individuals involved in Empower Futbol programs—on and off the field—including athletes, parents/guardians, coaches, spectators, staff, and volunteers and renters. Violations of this policy will result in immediate action, which may include removal from a session, fees (in case of damages), suspension, or permanent dismissal from the program, depending on the severity of the incident. There will be no warnings in cases of serious harm, discrimination, or harassment. We hold ourselves accountable to creating an environment where girls and young women can learn, grow, and lead without fear of harm or exclusion. Empower Futbol is built on a foundation of mutual respect, care, and equity—and we expect everyone in our community to uphold these values. Anti-Racism Policy
1. Statement of Commitment: Empower Futbol is committed to fostering an inclusive, intersectional, and equitable environment where all individuals—regardless of race, ethnicity, or background—are treated with dignity and respect. We acknowledge the historical and systemic barriers faced by Black, Indigenous, and racialized communities in sport and are dedicated to actively dismantling racism within our organization and the broader soccer community. 2. Zero Tolerance for Racism: Empower Futbol maintains a zero-tolerance policy for racism, discrimination, or any form of racial harassment. This applies to all players, coaches, staff, parents, spectators, and affiliates. Any racist behavior, including but not limited to racial slurs, exclusionary practices, stereotyping, or microaggressions, will result in immediate and appropriate action. 3. Inclusive & Equitable Hiring and Leadership Practices: Empower Futbol prioritizes inclusive hiring and leadership opportunities for Black, Indigenous, and racialized individuals in coaching, mentorship, and leadership roles. We strive to create equitable pathways for diverse representation at all levels of the organization. 4. Education & Training: All staff, coaches, and volunteers at Empower Futbol are required to participate in anti-racism and cultural competency training. These trainings will focus on recognizing bias, promoting allyship, and fostering an anti-racist culture in soccer. 5. Safe Reporting Mechanism: We encourage anyone who experiences or witnesses racist behavior to report it immediately. Reports can be made confidentially via email or directly to a designated Empower Futbol representative. All reports will be taken seriously, investigated promptly, and addressed with appropriate action. 6. Culturally Safe and Inclusive Programming: Our programs are designed to be inclusive and welcoming to all racial and ethnic groups. We will continually assess and update our policies, coaching approaches, and player development strategies to ensure they reflect anti-racist principles and equitable opportunities. 7. Community Engagement & Partnerships: Empower Futbol actively partners with organizations and leaders who share our commitment to anti-racism and inclusion in sport. We work alongside community groups to advocate for equitable opportunities and combat systemic barriers in soccer. 8. Accountability & Continuous Improvement: This policy is a living document that will be reviewed annually to ensure its effectiveness. We welcome feedback from our community to continually improve and uphold our commitment to anti-racism. 9. Consequences for Violations: Any individual found to be in violation of this policy will face consequences ranging from education and training to suspension or removal from Empower Futbol programs. We are committed to a fair process that prioritizes accountability and restorative justice where appropriate. 10. Our Pledge: At Empower Futbol, we recognize that anti-racism is an ongoing journey, not a one-time commitment. We pledge to continue learning, advocating, and leading by example to create a soccer community where everyone—regardless of race—can thrive, belong, and excel.
Booking & Payments
In order to secure your booking, payment must be made upfront.

Payment must be made up front via eTransfer to contact@empowerathleticsco.com. HST taxes apply.
Cancellations & Rentals
Once registered for our programs, no refunds can be given.

All sessions have a 48 hour cancellation policy. "No show's" or cancellations after 48 hours will be charged a $20 cancellation fee in addition to the session fee. If looking to "swap" a player for a single session, the player "swapping-in" can be a new member or an existing Empower member.

One-time facility rentals have a 48 hour cancellation policy, and are subject to a $60 cancellation fee.

Long term facility bookings (anything that is not a "one-time rental") requires a 30-day cancellation notice. All funds must be paid upfront in order to secure your spot.

Anything damaged during the duration of your rental will result in a fine in the amount consistent with the severity of the damage.
​
For birthday party rentals: Empower's facility must be put back in the exact same order as it was found. You are responsible for cleaning up after you and your guests. A minimum of $150 fine will be sent to any parties that do not respect this policy.
Privacy & Release Waivers
We value your privacy! No player will be shared on social media, or mentioned online without parental/guardian consent.
